Buckle Up Baby Program

Allstate provides the Buckle Up Baby Program to help you protect your children and to assist new parents with the purchase of an infant car seat.

If you are adopting a child or having a baby, you are eligible to participate in the Buckle Up Baby Program. The program provides you with the option to choose either an infant car seat free of charge or an upgraded infant car seat at a reduced cost to you.

If both you and your spouse are Allstate employees, one car seat is available per child.

Infant car seats ordered via the Buckle Up Baby Program are processed using the S2P electronic ordering system. It's simple!

  • Print the Buckle Up Baby Program — Order/Waiver Form
  • Complete and sign the form
  • If you are upgrading your infant car seat request, include a check, money order, or credit card information
  • Return the form to your S2P Requisitioner. Typically, your requisitioner is the person who orders supplies for your area. If you do not know who that is, ask your manager for assistance in identifying.
  • It takes approximately three weeks to receive the car seat from the time the vendor receives the waiver and order request from the S2P Requisitioner.

The vendor will ship the car seat directly to the address you provide on the form.

Dependent Day Care FSA

The expenses for providing day care for your children or elderly parents can quickly add up!

The Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (Dependent Day Care FSA) can help you stretch your paycheck a bit further by reimbursing your eligible dependent day care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Here's how it works:

  • Each year at Annual Enrollment*, you choose how much you want to contribute on a pre-tax basis to your Dependent Day Care FSA, up to the annual IRS maximum.
  • Each pay period, contributions are deducted from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis and deposited into your Dependent Day Care FSA. The money is available only as you contribute it to your account.
  • As you pay for eligible dependent day care expenses during the year, you request reimbursement through Alight’s Your Spending Account™.
  • You save money because you don't pay taxes on the money you've contributed to the account — including federal taxes, Social Security and Medicare (FICA) taxes, state income taxes in most states, and some local income taxes.
For example: If you were to set aside $4,000 and you are in a 25% tax bracket, you could save $1,000!
  • You can contribute up to $5,000 to your Dependent Day Care FSA. All contributions must be used by the end of the Plan Year or they are forfeited, so it's important to carefully estimate how much you'll spend on eligible dependent day care expenses in a given year.

*or when you have a qualified change in status, such as a marital status change or birth of a child.
